04/11/2016   iMUDS (UGR) VISITE THE NEW CIVIL, INDUSTRIAL, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SPORTS AERODYNAMICS LAB (LACIAD)

Last Thursday, researchers from the University of Granada Health and Sports Institute (IMUDS) , visited the new Civil, Industrial, Environmental and Sports Aerodynamics Lab (LACIAD) Oritia & Boreas is building in Escúzar (GR).

The laboratory, has new experimental capabilities necessary for the study of some elite sports like cycling, swimming, skiing and sailing, assuming a key role in the aerodynamic studies of individual athletes and teams.

LACIAD hosts the Spain’s largestWind Tunnel, SAVE a Extreme Winds Environmental Simulator. , with which O&B completes its wide range of services for elite sporting disciplines, including numerical simulation (CFD), physical simulation in the wind tunnel and athlete monitoring during training and environmental conditions.
